We organise Social Events so that the community can get together. After these events, neighbours always go away saying, "This really is a great place to live!" Seeing everyone together, enjoying themselves, changes the way we feel about our community.

• Every July we have a bring-something-to-share Street Party.
• Every October we have a Haloween Party for children.
• Every Christmas we have Carol Singing round the houses.
• In September we hold a Triangle Art Day.
• We have occasional Ceilidhs and Community Meals.
• We have Safari Suppers round different houses.
• In Jan 2009 we held an Alternative Therapies Day.

The format of most of our events is "bring something to share", with people bringing home-made food to share with others.

Newcomers and neighbours from other parts of Headingley are welcome to all our events, as are friends and family who are staying at the time.

All kinds of social events are welcome. If you have ideas for setting one up, please use the eMailing list to propose it. You'll get lots of help.
