forgotten your password?

If you have forgotten your password, here's what to do.

Its no good asking the poor admin guy: he isn't allowed to see users' passwords.

1. Copy and paste these instructions into some other program (eg Word or Notepad), so that you can keep referring to them.
2. Go the home page www.headingley.org
3. Look below the login box and click "Request new password".
4. Enter your Username or e-mail address (the same as the one you gave when you registered).
5. Click "E-mail new password"

The system will send you an email: it should arrive within a few minutes.

1. Open the email.
2. Click on the once-only link in the body of the email. This should open a browser window and show your settings (the "My details" area in your personal menu).
3. Think of a new password NOW and enter it in the "password" and "confirm password" boxes.
4. I know you're not supposed to do this, but --- Write it down somewhere safe.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "submit".

You are now logged in, so you can carry on browsing the members-only areas.

NB. As always, if you don't log out at the end of your session, you will find you are (usually) still logged in when you next visit the site, so you won't need to logon so often.
